KING LAOGHAIRE is a group of six people who share a mutual interest in Irish/Celtic traditional and ballad music. Based in Sweden, the band first started in 1991 as an acoustic experiment in a rockbands (the Ex-Junkies) regular repertoire. In early 1992 the acoustic side of the band had taken over.
I first found their website while looking for Celtic lyrics. It's an outstanding searchable resource. This beautiful Irish love song uses the same air as is used by "Loch Lomond". They lead the song with a beautiful flute solo before the vocals step and bring peace to your soul.
