Touting her music as 'pretty intense Celtic rock,' the Mimi Burns Band is well on its way to making a name for themselves. The lyrics are easy to understand and leave people craving more of them. One of the high points of her music is that the songs tell stories that everyone can relate to.

The Mimi Burns Band started their journey by touring Europe in 1999 after releasing their first CD, "Slippin Away." Since then, Mimi's albums have been on rotation in radio stations of over 3o countries and she has been bringing in crowds at pubs around the world. Now at work on her third album, Mimi is adding a fiddle player and hopes to focus on her pop-rock sound grounded to her Celtic roots. Her music is about love and loss and her vocals are hauntingly beautiful and capture the imagination of those who listen to her lyrics.
