Irish Rover and The Crew began as a tribute band to Shame MacGowan (ex Pogues). However, on August 22, 2006, they began working on original authentic songs that will capitalize on their style.
Through multiple changes in The Crew, the band has now settled on five musicians, headed by lead singer, Rover MacGowan. The band has now fine-tuned its sound as an Irish punk band with fast-pace music and the hard-core vocal stylings of Rover MacGowan. This tribute band is well on their way to making a name for themselves and their own music.
