The Black Irish (Austin, Texas) began in November 2004. Irish Punkabilly that will make you want to smash someone over the head with a Guinness bottle and cry for Willy McBride (who died in the great Irish war of 1916) while combing back your pompadour. The Black Irish is influenced by numerous genres mostly driving Traditional Irish punk rock with a hint of hillbilly American flavor. "There's nothing in this town like you guys. These guys can't go wrong. They have enjoyed much success as an Austin household name and plan to continue rocking hard. Look for where they are playing soon.
