Celtic, to bluegrass, to jazz, to country, Nine-8th's Irish meshes the different skills and talents of the five accomplished musicians to create something dynamic within the realm of Celtic music.

The band consists of Chris Dunlap on bodhran, cajon and voclas; Linda Relph on fiddle and vocals; Bo Bowen on whistles; Kathy Barwick on guitar, five-string banjo, acoustic bass and vocals; and Brady McKay on vocals.

Out on the Ocean is the band's second album, including standard Irish session tunes as well as modernized arrangements of traditional songs. The diverse material showcases the numerous talents of each band member. And the music is not only fun to listen to, it's outstanding.
