Teresa Doyle has achieved critical acclaim across North America and the British Isles. She won the 2007 Victor Martyn Lynch-Staunton award for music, which is only given out to one artist of seven disciplines in recognition of artistic excellence in mid-career. Doyle is definitely deserving of that award.
Her latest album, Orrachan, is sung completely in Irish Gaelic. The list of people she has performed with is astounding. Yet, Doyle commands a presence when she sings. She's not only good, she's versatile. Her talent is reflected in her music.
