Danny Carthy is not only a folksinger but also a songwriter who has been entertaining people for over thirty years. Before going solo, he was the lead singer with Ireland's Fiddlers Green. Now that he is on his own, he is able to sing his own compositions in addition to the folk songs that people love.

Danny doesn't just sing for the older crowd, however. With his vast repertoire he has gained over the years, his style of singing suits all age groups, including children. With two solo CDs recently re-released this year, Danny is busy promoting and giving others a chance to take in his unique style.
