What can I say about Ed Miller. I adore his work. Ed is a a native of Edinburgh, Scotland who now lives in Austin, Texas. He is a product of the 1960s folk revival in Scotland and moved to the United States in 1968 to complete his graduate work in Geography, and later Folklore, at the University of Texas at Austin. He is also the host of a folk music program on Austin's public radio station, KUT-FM.

Ed Miller has had a profound on my musical career. I first met him at a Scottish gathering in Austin, Texas. It must've been my second year performing Celtic music. He was a stunning performer, and focusing on the songs of Scotland, he inspired me to start studying the music of my own Clan Gunn heritage.
Now we're working on our Scots CD, "Real Men Wear Kilts," but I honestly can't see how it could compare to the strong confident songs of Ed Miller. He's a brilliant storyteller and a majestic singer. I hope one day I'll be half the musician of Ed Miller.
