John Sheehan is a Composer/Guitarist/Singer/Songwriter from Ringwood, NJ. Sincere listeners of his music have compared him to such diverse artists as; Leo Kottke, Jorma Kaukonen, Mark Knophler, Michael Hedges, John Prine, Steve Earle, and Jimmy Buffett, but John gives credit to J.S. Bach and John Fahey as well as many more. While not a regular performer of Celtic music, he has arranged some exquisite guitar instrumentals including an arrangement of "Lord Inchiquin".
This song is traditionally performed on the harp as it was composed by the famous harper Turlough O'Carolan. John does an great job bringing to life the O'Carolan's music. So well, in fact, that the song has spent a bit of time at the top of the folk charts. And he is many more O'Carolan tunes in the work.
